Annual Conference

Each year Global Cities New Zealand organizes a annual conference which is hosted by one of our members. These conferences seek to promote discussion, encourage the exchange of ideas, and the sharing of stories. Through these interactions we aim to further global connections in a world where diversity is being increasingly celebrated.

Unfortunately, the 2022 annual conference has been postponed, but in its place, a forum will be held in Wellington on November 10th:

GCNZ Forum
Thursday 10 November 2022
at Grand Hall, Parliament Building
Theme: “Celebrating New Zealand’s Diplomatic Relations – Global Connections and Diversity through Citizen Diplomacy”
Please join us to celebrate New Zealand’s diplomatic relations with the USA (80 years), Japan (70 years), South Korea (60 years) and China (50 years).
The forum can bring people together to share our stories, to discuss how we can reconnect with the world and work together to maintain the people based global connections established over the years, and to develop further, both internationally and locally.
